‘Soul Garden’
This painting was gifted to AWRC by a survivor in gratitude for the support she received on her journey. Inspired by the Rumi quote, “Somewhere between right and wrong, there is a garden. I will meet you there,” the artwork reflects childhood memories of gardening with her parents—the joy it brought then, and the healing it offers now. She shares, “Being in nature has many health benefits, and it continues to help me heal my soul and restore my creativity.”
AWRC continues to fundraise and welcomes all donations big or small. Any support that we receive helps us to continue our work against domestic abuse and promote women's empowerment. AWRC are raising £45,000 to support another 45,000 women from abuse in celebration of our 45th Anniversary. Please be part of the change and donate if you can.
